Dr. Amy Coy
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Amy Coy grew up in Bozeman, Montana, where her love of animals and nature first blossomed. That passion simply never quit! She always knew that she would love to help animals live happier, healthier lives as a veterinary professional. Now, Dr. Coy gets to give something back to the pets who have always given her so much—she’s the owner and operator of Agape Animal Clinic.
Dr. Coy attended Montana State University in Bozeman to earn her biology degree, then continued on to veterinary school at Washington State University. After working under other veterinarians from 2008 to 2011, she decided to branch out on her own and open her very own practice. That’s when Agape Animal Clinic was born!
Dr. Coy has been caring for the area’s pets and animal owners here since 2012, and particularly enjoys soft-tissue and exploratory surgeries. Most of all, though, she loves to meet the area’s pet parents and get to know their adorable animal companions. She’s proud to have practiced in four separate states, and she’s a member of two state veterinary associations as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Coy has two sons, both of whom are pursuing engineering degrees at the moment. Dr. Coy has a passion for animals. She has been in practice for more than 30 years. Her love of her patients extends to the love she has for her own four legged children. Her animal family consists of an African Grey Parrot named Echo, Willie the Great Dane, Charles the Papillion, Angus the Toy Fox Terrier and finally Fluffy the cat.
